Some new JC soon...

What’s up kids? Lots to spill so let’s get a move on.

First off, the big news is that last week MTV ran a story that said JC was ONE WEEK away from finishing his second record! JC said that the first record was all about sex and this record was all about love. When MTV asked if the Eva Longoria (beeyatch) had inspired any of the songs JC said, “No. Yes. Maybe.”

Also, the gossip king over at E! ran into JC at the Mr. & Mrs. Smith premiere and had this to say:

Gabbed with the always endearing JC Chasez at the Mr. and Mrs. Smith premiere last week, and in the flick's honor I asked the 'N Syncer to define a perfect marriage. He narrowed his eyes a bit, a hapless grin formed at the corners and he replied very suavely, "There's no such thing, honey," shaking his head as if he's been through such marital hard times.

"But ideally speaking," I urged JC, "what's your definition?" Spill it!

"Well, I guess it's when you stay faithful, stay honest and you're still in love," he professed, quite matter-of-factly.

Awwww! I still love my JC!

I actually caught Mr. & Mrs. Smith last Tuesday. It was alllright. Nothing spectacular. I enjoyed the movie while it was happening but I did feel like it was dragging a bit. I thought that Pitt and Jolie were strong and holy moly those two generate some heat.

My official KT rating is that if it was on cable I’d probably watch it. I wouldn’t go out of my way to find it again, but if it was on, I’d watch.

Tonight is the big movie excitement! BATMAN! Hmmmm Christian Bale! I have to say that I’m getting a little annoyed about all this Katie Holmes crap. On the news yesterday all the talk was about how Katie Holmes’ new movie opened at number 1. I’m sorry, is she the one in the cape? Cause if not then it is not her movie. It is Christian Bale’s movie. Ugh. I hate all this Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes crap. It is driving me insane!!!!

In other batman news, I heard that the rumored top two top picks for Joker (for the sequel) are Mark Hamill and Crispin Glover. Glover is definitely creepy but I think I’m leaning towards Hamill. Did you see him in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back? He’d be a great villain plus his face is already kind of like the Joker.

In our last bit of movie news, SMG has signed on to to American McGee’s Alice. Apparently it is a movie based on a video game based on Alice in Wonderland. Something about Alice being grown up and a little disturbed after her parents are killed. She goes back to a dark wonderland. Sounds pretty interesting. I just hope that SMG doesn’t end up being typecast in supernatural/horror flicks. I’d like to see her bust out her dramatic acting chops.

I believe that the Serenity trailer is playing before Batman. If you see the trailer and think to yourself, wow, that movie looks pretty cool, then I urge you to watch the show before the film comes out. Besides the dvds that I own, you can also catch Firefly on SciFi on Fridays at 7, starting Jul 22nd. Just remember that the first episode is a little difficult to get through but once you do the rest of the series is worth it.

Finally for all the Bon Jovi fans, I’m holding out hope that there will be a later summer/early fall tour. The boys are releasing another record this summer and are also doing the Live 8 show in Philly. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
