KT Update: TV Tidbits

Moving stinks. I’m sure most of you know my feelings on moving as I sent out an angry email last week about how much I hate moving and especially Direct-TV; I still disdain the pseudo-tivo and I want to cry because I’m giving my beloved Tivo away next week. And for all of you that say a “dvr” is the same thing as a Tivo, that’s like saying Coke is the same as RC Cola. Boooooo. Anyhoo, let’s get into some pop culture scoopage.

The CW is dangerously close to being blacklisted from my tv. How, how are they considering cancelling Veronica Mars? Didn’t they learn anything from the vex I put on their Monday night schedule for not picking up Everwood? I know this year hasn’t been super stellar but I still love the show (although I do get a bit cranky that Wallace has had about 20 minutes of airtime the whole season) and I will be very sad if the show is not on my schedule next year. Oh, but wait, the show may not get cancelled, they may start season 4 fast forwarded 5 years and Veronica will be an FBI agent! What! Boo, I think this idea stinks and I don’t like it. What about Logan? Pappa Mars? Mac? Wallace? Weevil? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I have stupid networks they always meddle in my shows and make them stink. Remember season 3 of Alias? Boo Bah Hiss!

Can I tell you how much I’m loving Brothers & Sisters? I love that Emily Van Kamp (that’s Amy Abbott for you Everwood fans) is now on the cast. I love the whole Walker clan (although-and I’m sorry Balthazaar—I wouldn’t mind if Tommy and his boring wife went on a long, long, vacation). Are you still not watching? You are missing one of the best shows of the year!!!

I almost vomited last Thursday. George and Izzy? BLECH. Nevermind the fact that they’ve now made George an adulterer, but they’ve ruined a really good friendship. I don’t like it, I don’t like it one bit! And, it gets worse. I’ve heard rumors that they are planning on having George & Izzy fall in love! Double BLECH. Anyone else think this means Isaiah Washington is on his way out? We can’t have 3 fully functioning relationships on the show can we? Then things get boring? Plus, Cristina SO does not want to marry Burke. That’s my guess George+Izzy=No More Burke.

Yeaaah Joey Fatone! Kicking ass on Dancing with the Stars last night! Man I was so proud of him, like the good ol days (it is amazing how much I still love those boys—plus Lance is so cute, he sent out a message to all of his my space friends to watch last night and vote for Joey!) Anyhoo, if you missed you, you need to tune in. Looking like the real competition will be between Joey, Ian Ziering and Lailia Ali, but I gots my money on Joey. Plus it is rather amusing to see how wretched some of these people are!

And I’m done. I started watching American Idol a little too early this year and actually picked an underdog favorite only for her not to make the top 12. Wha, wha wha? Sabrina didn’t make the Top 12? And that boring girl did? And don’t even get me started on the horrendous Sanjaya. So yup, I was in early and I’m out. No more idol for me.

(You like how I’m going back & forth with my tv rants and raves?) I’m really liking Lost these days. I want to know what’s up with Locke, why he’s acting so shady these days? What the heck? Jack’s playing football with the Others? Craziness. Our Charlie’s days really numbered (I’m hearing yes). Plus, we’re finally gonna find out how Locke got into that frikkin wheelchair. I haven’t been this excited for this show since season 1.

One show I’m a little disappointed in this year is 24. I think they’ve killed off too many people and now the show is all about people we don’t really care about. I mean, I like to see Chloe every now and again, but she’s like the only one I’m even remotely emotionally invested in (especially now----Mozz skip this line---------------)
That we know Audrey is dead (is this the 24 movie? Jack’s vengeance for Audrey?)

Mozz—you can come back now.
But yeah. I’m not really feeling it. There are some exciting/fun moments but I think it is an off year for the 24 gang (although not nearly on the level of Season 3’s god awfulness).

I can’t believe I have to wait another month for Heroes to return! It is killing me!

If you were one of the 15 people that watched Kidnapped, you can rent the dvds from netflix as of April 24 to see how it ends (I’m assuming they wrapped things up).

Romber already voted off The Amazing Race! Boo. Boston Rob was the only reason I was watching. Well, at least that is one show I can cut out of my lineup.

I have all of the Black Donnelly episodes tivo'd. I'll discuss after I watch. I caught a bit of October Road, I'll be sure not to catch anymore. I'm not sure when Drive debuts on Fox, but when it does, I'll be watching.

PopStar Update!
So as we all know Brit is in rehab. Hopefully she will get her crap together and have a killer comeback (Timbaland is already saying he wants to work with her and help her with a comeback (and a possible JT reunion). I just hope it is not too late for her.

What’s this? JC gay? Some of you may not be surprised by that statement. Last week gossip was circulating that JC had a member of his entourage ask a guy at a bar back to his room for him. Is Jc gay? My guess is bicurious, like Michael said to me, there have been many moments over the years where we’ve looked at each other and said, that boy has to be gay. Either way, I love the man and I’m still waiting for his damn record.

My other man, Chris Cornell, is heading on the road Han style (that’s Solo—hehe, get it. I stole that joke from How I met Your Mother). Too bad he’s not coming to Charlotte (booo) and even though I’ll actually be in NJ while he’s in NY, I’ll be at the Mets-Phillies game! At least I’ll have my boyfriend Jose Reyes to take my mind off the concert. He’s record comes out in May and here’s hoping it is infinitely better than his last solo record.

Hey, if you want to see the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 trailer it is now online. I don’t know what to think. As much as I liked the first one, I really, really hated the second one. Although I suppose I’ll be a good wife and see it for Jay.

That’s all folks. April is pretty quiet (which means I’ll be netflixing a lot) but I’ll be back to discuss the new fall pilots that make it to the network’s schedule.
