KT Update..Season Finales..Wah Everwood!!

Hey there everyone! Before we get to the Tv Season Wrap Up, I want to say tell you that I’m going to London! And Paris! In 13 days! How frikkin insane is that? I’ve been a little sad because New Orleans fell through in January and I’m not really going anywhere on my “Places to Go” list this year. We decided on Aruba for the honeymoon so we could relax. But after the West Coast Adventure last year I’ve been aching to go somewhere new & explore! I’ve been itching to go to Europe for a while and now, thanks to Verispan (yay! I *heart* Verispan!) I’ll get to go to Paris & London, basically for free. How kick ass is that? I was a bit disappointed that I’d have to go exploring on my own—with the wedding coming there isn’t too much extra cash lying around, so that pretty much took Jay & my mom out of the running. And my A-1 travel companion, Michael, is already booked solid this summer! So I was planning on going it alone, when Jessica (those of you that know her, know her as the midwestern chic who loves Iowa) said she’d meet me in London! Yahoo! And she has friends in London & Paris! So now we will get to be incognito tourists too! I’m pretty excited, especially since Jessica is as much, if not more, of a trip research/planner as I am! I can’t wait to report back to you! One minus though, I am a tad bit petrified of the 7 ½ hour flight over the Atlantic—EEEEEEE!

Now on to tv!!

24- Quite enjoyable, as usual. Jack saved the day & avenged the deaths of Palmer, Tony & Michelle. Interesting ending, Jack being taken back to China on a cargo ship. So what does that mean for next year? We will join Jack after he has been returned from China? Obviously he can’t be in China at the start of the show, it would take him 18 hours to get back! But yeah, another stellar year from the 24 crew.

Everwood—Damn you CW! I still can’t believe that Everwood was past over in favor of 7th Heaven & One Tree Hill. I have to say that this may be one of the best series finales I’ve ever seen. Most shows have a tendency to let you down with a series finale, others tie everything up so happy that it is unrealistic, some make you feel content and have some amazing moments, and some make you cry the whole way through damning the idiotic network that canceled it. It was just amazing. There were so many awesome moments, and this show, that was all about relationships showed you how far each character had come since the show began. I love how Andy & Ephram’s relationship has evolved, I love how Bright telling Hannah to go to Notre Dame proved that he deserved another chance and ultimately led to Hannah choosing Colorado. I love that Delia got a pony! I love drunk Amy! I love Scott Wolf making me teary in airports! (I did have a teensy issue with Nina accepting Andy’s proposal only days after she & Jake called it quits, but it was so happy I didn’t care!) Best moment, of course, was Amy busting out the grand gesture to profess her love for Ephram, who never stopped loving, not even for a second. I loved it all. And next year, 2 months into the fall season when the CW has cancelled whatever ridiculous show, I will think sadly to myself that they should have known and kept my friends from Everwood on.

How I Met Your Mother—I think this show snuck in and became my favorite. I think the cast has outstanding chemistry, they constantly make me laugh out loud and Neil Patrick Harris better get an emmy nomination so help me! Suit up!!

Prison Break—Ok so I was supremely pissed off after the fall finale. Jay insisted that we watch it when it came back midseason and we did. I’ll admit it, there were some good eps. But that ending, for the love of God, I just can’t… “We Run…” Bah! There are 20 police cars within feet of you and you are gonna run? I did give the show credit for having Dr. Sara OD, but I heard that she’s going to survive so it is not as ballsy as it would have been if she were really dead.

Veronica Mars—Wow, another stellar season. I really need to discuss the season finale with all of you that will watch season 2 as soon as it is released in August. Please remember to call me after you watch it because I have much to discuss. And as always, I love logan.

The Amazing Race—I heard some people didn’t like the hippies but I thought they were rather amusing. Luck definitely played a role this year as the hippies came in last twice-both times non-elimination rounds. I do feel kinda bad that the frat boys didn’t win since they dominated all season, but I’m definitely happy that BJ & Tyler won.

Lost—Answers, and new questions. What will next season be? We will focus on the Others? Will Desmond be a series regular? What the heck happened to Locke & Ecko? Why did the Others write those particular names on the list? I enjoyed the finale & I’ll keep on watching next year.

Alias—Another series finale. Alias will always make me a bit sad because it had so much potential but the stoopid network get involved and messed it up for everyone involved. I thought the finale was fairly good. Syd got herself a happy ending & I got to see me some Sark-a-liscous. Although it does kinda suck that Jack got blown up, at least she named the kid Jack.

Survivor—I was so afraid Danielle was gonna win. Two weeks in I heard that a gambling site had close betting on the winner because too many bets were coming in for Danielle. I think that if Ciere had defeated Danielle in the fire challenge it would have been a more interesting final two no matter who ended up there—Aras vs. Terry, Terry vs Ciere, Ciere vs Aras. Definitely would have made for a more tense tribal. Overall enjoyable though.

Desperate Housewives—Some storylines were nicely wrapped up and we did get some leads on next year. This show is only so-so for me now a days, it’ll have to do some work in order for me to stay on as a viewer all next season.

That’s all for now folks! I’ll be back with some gossip and outstanding performances/storylines from this season later—maybe I’ll write it up on my 7 ½ hour flight over the Atlantic! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
